Sommelier tastings

Guided flights inside the cellar

Five pours, one theme, and a sommelier who actually visited the vineyards. From regional introductions to museum releases that never reach the by-the-glass list.

The experience

The cellar, opened for you

Tastings run inside the working cellar itself, surrounded by the six hundred labels the list is built on. Each flight follows a theme: a single region, a single grape across continents, or a vertical of one estate's best years.

Sessions run ninety minutes for two to eight guests, seated with cheese and charcuterie from the board. The museum flight pours back-vintages we keep off the main list, and every tasting ends with the bottle you'd least expect to love.

Why guests book it

Why the tastings book out

Inside the cellar

Tastings happen surrounded by the collection, not at a bar reading about it.

Sommelier-led

Every flight is hosted by someone who visits these vineyards each vintage.

Museum pours

Back-vintage bottles opened for the tasting that never appear by the glass.

The board

House cheese and charcuterie served alongside, matched to the flight.

How it runs

How a tasting runs

01

Pick a theme

Choose a region, a varietal or a museum vertical. Or tell the sommelier three words and let them build it.

02

Five pours

Ninety minutes in the cellar, glass by glass, with the story of each producer alongside.

03

Take something home

Cellar-door pricing applies to anything you carry out, and rare bottles ship across Australia.

The museum flight cost less than the bottle we'd have guessed at on the list. Worth every cent.

Questions

Before you book

None at all. Most guests arrive knowing only what they like to drink, and leave knowing why. The format is built for curiosity, not expertise.
Groups of two to eight sit comfortably in the cellar. Larger parties split into parallel sessions or move to the River Room.
Tastings can be rescheduled to 24 hours out. Cancel inside that and the fee converts to a voucher for a future session.
