Cookies on coastalplateau.com

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They remember things between pages and visits: whether you've seen a notice, what your reservation form held, whether you prefer certain settings. They cannot run programs or read other files.

We set a single category ourselves: functional cookies that remember your cookie consent choice and keep form sessions working. We do not set advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site identifiers.

The embedded Google Map on our contact pages is served by Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy when you interact with the map. No other third-party cookies are intentionally set.

The cookie notice on our homepage asks for your choice before setting anything beyond strictly necessary storage. Accepting stores a consent record for twelve months; declining stores the same record marked declined, and only strictly necessary storage is used.

Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking functional cookies may prevent the consent banner remembering your choice and can affect form behaviour.

We use your browser's local storage for the consent record itself, which behaves like a cookie but never leaves your device. Clearing site data in your browser resets this along with the cookies.

We do not currently run behavioural analytics. Basic server logs record page requests for security and performance purposes and are retained for thirty days.

We update this page when our use of cookies changes. The version shown is current; material changes are noted on the homepage consent notice itself.
